Introduction
These Terms of Purchase apply to all consumer purchases of goods via the internet from Punto di Luce. These terms comply with statutory consumer protection legislation and are intended to outline the rights and obligations governing your transaction. All purchases are subject to the version of the Terms of Purchase available on our website at the time of order.
1. The Agreement
The agreement consists of these Terms of Purchase, information provided during the checkout process, and any specifically agreed-upon terms. In the event of a conflict, specifically agreed terms shall take precedence, provided they do not contravene mandatory consumer laws.
2. Parties
Seller: Puntodiluce.com Buyer: The consumer placing the order.
3. Prices
The price stated for the product is the total amount the buyer is required to pay. This price includes VAT, taxes, and all additional charges. No extra costs will be added without the buyer's explicit consent.
4. Conclusion of Agreement
The agreement becomes binding once the order is confirmed by the buyer. However, an order is not binding if there are evident typographical or input errors in the seller's offer or the buyer's order which the other party realized or should have realized existed.
5. Payment
Punto di Luce accepts payments through Shopify Payments, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Apple Pay. The payment will be authorized and charged to the buyer’s card upon placement of the order.
6. Delivery & Production
As our chandeliers are artisanal and often made to order, the typical delivery time is 2–3 weeks.

Custom Frames: For non-standard finishes (e.g., specific patinas or custom metalwork), additional production time should be anticipated.

Shipping: Goods are shipped via DHL Express or FedEx. The customer will receive tracking information via SMS and email once the order has departed our partner furnaces in Italy.
7. Transfer of Risk
The risk of the product passes to the buyer once they, or a designated representative, have taken physical possession of the goods.
8. Right of Withdrawal (Returns)
The buyer has a right of withdrawal for 14 days from the receipt of the product.

Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply to items marked as "Custom Order" or bespoke creations made to customer specifications.

Costs: The buyer bears all shipping costs and logistical arrangements associated with the return.
9. Delays and Non-Delivery
In the event of delays or non-delivery, the buyer holds rights in accordance with the Consumer Purchase Act, including the right to withhold payment, demand performance, rescind the purchase, and/or claim compensation.
10. Defects & Claims
If a product is defective, the buyer must contact Punto di Luce at help@puntodiluce.com within a reasonable time.
10.a Damage During Transport
Punto di Luce takes full responsibility for glass breakage occurring during transport to the buyer. All shipments are fully insured.

Extra Insurance: We typically include 1 or 2 spare glass elements in each shipment as a precaution.

Reporting: If breakage exceeds the number of spare parts provided, the buyer must inform us within 14 days of receipt. This allows us to process the insurance claim with DHL/FedEx and ship replacement parts at no cost to you.

Late Reporting: If damages are reported after the 14-day window, we cannot guarantee insurance coverage, and the buyer may be required to purchase replacement parts.
11. Personal Data
Punto di Luce processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Act and GDPR. Information is only disclosed to third parties (such as shipping carriers) to the extent necessary to fulfill the agreement.
12. Dispute Resolution
Complaints should be directed to Punto di Luce service team. We strive to resolve all disputes amicably through direct dialogue.
Disclaimer: Information & Pricing Errors
Punto di Luce reserves the right to correct typographical errors, technical inaccuracies, or pricing mistakes that may occur on our website. We cannot guarantee that all descriptions are 100% accurate at all times.
In the event that an item is purchased based on incorrect information (such as an obvious pricing error), Punto di Luce reserves the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund. We will notify the customer immediately and offer alternative solutions where possible.
By using our website and completing a purchase, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
